The College of Arts & Sciences is pleased to announce the “Speaker Series on Global Racism.” Created by the directors of five regionally based interdisciplinary programs, these lectures will shine a light on issues of global racism around the world.
The first webinar will be held on Monday, February 8 at 4pm - 5pm CST and explores “Race and Politics in America.” This event is sponsored by the African Studies and African Diaspora Program. Future lectures will focus on racism in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and the larger Islamic world. See more information on the speakers and topics below.
Each speaker is a renowned expert in his/her field and will dedicate a portion of the webinar to answer audience questions. Webinars will be recorded and available to the Loyola community. The Speaker Series on Global Racism is open to Loyola students, faculty, alumni and the broader community.
