Send-Off Sunday

Welcome New Students to the Rambler Community

In cities across the country, the next class of Loyola students is preparing to start their journey at Loyola. What better way to begin that adventure than with a send-off from their local Loyola family.

Send-off Sunday is the first of many ‘welcomes’ to students and families joining Loyola this coming fall. This is a great opportunity for Alumni to meet and welcome the newest members of the Loyola student community and their parents.

On Sunday, August 7th, Loyola communities in six cities across the county will host a Send-Off Sunday.

For new students, this is a chance to meet other incoming freshman from your local area before even stepping foot on Loyola’s campus for your first day of class. For parents, it’s a chance to meet and connect with others sending their child to Loyola for the first-time and to also ask questions to parents of both current and former students. And for our Loyola alumni, this is where you can share your tips on being a student at Loyola and join in the excitement as welcome our newest freshman class of Ramblers.

Below is the list of cities hosting a Send-Off Sunday. For more information, please contact the Loyola Alumni Relations staff member listed with the city.  If you would like more information about hosting a send-off in your area next year, you can contact Dana Almdale at dalmdale@luc.edu
