Please join us on April 19 for a talk by the National Media Director at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Josh Mogerman about the potential impact of budget cuts and
environmental policy on the Great Lakes Region. Karen will focus on
water and energy related impacts such as the Great Lakes Restoration
Initiative, the Clean Water Rule, and the Clean Power Plan. Josh will also offer a response to EPA Administrator, Scott Pruitt's visit to East Chicago, Indiana on April 19 addressing the lead contamination of the city's water.
In addition to the talk, join us to
network with Loyola alumni, students,friends, and the Founding Dean of Loyola's Institute of
Environmental Sustainability, Dr. Nancy Tuchman.

About the Presenter:
Josh Mogerman serves as National Media Director for the Natural Resources Defense Council. A graduate of the University of Missouri, his career has centered on translating the work of wonks, scientists and lawyers into “regular people speak” to engage the public on important conservation and sustainability issues. Operating from the South Side of Chicago, Josh is a survivor of many high profile campaigns at NRDC and Chicago Zoological Society / Brookfield Zoo.
